Cricket and politics are two major topics of discussion in Sri Lanka these days. During the third ODI between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, some Sri Lankan fans combined the two, calling for Kusal Janith Perera to be made Prime Minister.

"If he scored that much in 25 balls, just imagine how much he would have scored in 50! Change just began! Kusal for Prime Minister!" the placard said. The placard refers to the 68 runs Perera scored in the 2nd ODI at Pallekele, facing just 25 balls.
