Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry at BMICH this morning.

The MH17 Boeing 777 aircraft has been reconstructed by investigators using fragments of the plane found at the crash site. The report of the Dutch Safety Board on the MH17 crash was released yesterday.

Today is the International Day of the Girl Child, first marked by the UN in 2012. This year, the theme is "The Power of the Adolescent Girl: Vision for 2030".
