A 43-year-old shop owner was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle on Saranankara Mawatha.

Police reports say that the victim, a resident of Nedimala, was inside his shop when the assailants opened fire. Emergency services confirmed him dead at the scene. Police are currently investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made yet.
