The Cabinet of Sri Lanka has approved a new initiative to train 7,500 teachers in robotics and artificial intelligence. This program is part of the government's push for digital transformation within the national education framework.
The Skills College of Technology (SCOT CAMPUS), known for its expertise in IT, mechatronics, and robotics, will spearhead the training.
The program, backed by the President and Ministers of Technology and Education, will cover STEAM subjects, including IT, biotechnology, engineering, and mathematics, in three stages across all provinces.
