Widespread Misuse of Public Property in Presidential Election Raises Concerns

The Institute for Democratic Reforms and Electoral Studies (IRES) has issued a warning about the extensive misuse of public property as the presidential election approaches.

Manjula Gajanayake, Executive Director of IRES, revealed that the institute has received nearly 180 complaints regarding election-related issues.
Of these, a troubling 165 involve the improper use of public facilities.
