Sri Lanka’s Department of Posts has issued a commemorative stamp honoring the renowned Sri Dalada Perahera in Kandy. Measuring 205 mm, it is now the longest stamp in the world. The stamp was presented to President Ranil Wickremesinghe by Senior Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha K. Ranasinghe.

Alongside this unique stamp, a collection of stamps, souvenirs, and first-day covers celebrating the Sri Dalada Maligawa and Buddhist culture was presented to the Diyawadana Nilame. These items will be showcased at the Sri Dalada Maligawa Museum.
