The Ministry of Public Security has implemented new regulations restricting the daily issuance of passports to around 1,000. Moving forward, only those who have reserved a date and time online will be eligible to receive a passport.

The Ministry revealed that just 23 percent of the passports issued to date have actually been utilized. This change is expected to streamline the process and better manage the demand for passports.
