A man posing as the Badulla District Judge was arrested in the Gandara area following a tip-off to the 119 emergency hotline.

The suspect, a 53-year-old resident of Kiribathgoda, had been defrauding people under the guise of being a judge. Police tracked the suspect to a house in Gandara, where he was arrested.
