The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with Geopolitical Cartographer, will host the Central Asia Forum tomorrow in Colombo. The forum is expected to explore the strategic significance of Central Asia in Eurasian connectivity and the growing importance of new transport and logistics corridors.

The event, which includes two key sessions, will focus on enhancing Sri Lanka's economic engagement with Central Asia, addressing both the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. This initiative comes on the heels of Sri Lanka's decision to establish a diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and recent consultations with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan.

Key figures speaking at the forum include Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aruni Wijewardane, who will deliver the opening remarks, and Minister of Foreign Affairs M.U.M. Ali Sabry, who will highlight Sri Lanka's priorities in the region. The forum will also feature discussions from notable experts, policymakers, and business leaders from both Sri Lanka and Central Asia.
