Chaturanga Randimal Gamage, a member of the Ruhunu Janatha Party, was released on bail today after being arrested for allegedly obstructing the nomination process at the Election Office.
The magistrate set his release on a personal bail of Rs. 7,500 and a surety bail of Rs. 500,000.
The case is scheduled to be taken up again in court on September 2.
