Dr. Zuhair M.H. Zaid, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Sri Lanka, made a farewell visit to Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana of the Sri Lankan Parliament. During their meeting, Speaker Abeywardana inquired about the current situation in Palestine, to which Dr. Zaid provided a comprehensive update on the ongoing political, social, and humanitarian challenges.

The Ambassador expressed deep gratitude for Sri Lanka's consistent support for Palestine, particularly during difficult times.
