A 26-year-old man was shot at Pillayar Junction in the Gemunupura area of Sripura early this morning. According to police reports, an unidentified gunman on a motorcycle opened fire on the victim using a T-56 firearm before fleeing the scene.

The victim, who was dead at the scene, has been identified as a resident of Kawantissapura in Sripura. The motive for the shooting remains unclear, and Sripura Police have launched an investigation to arrested the suspect.
