Sri Lanka's Education Ministry has announced the closure of schools in several districts due to severe weather conditions. All schools in the Kegalle and Ratnapura districts of the Sabaragamuwa Province, the Galle and Matara districts of the Southern Province, and the Kalutara District and Homagama Zone of the Western Province will remain closed tomorrow, June 4.

Additionally, the Provincial Governor has announced that all national and provincial schools in the Southern Province will also be closed on June 4 and 5.
