Gotabaya inherited a collapsed govt, not the strong one built by Mahinda, claims Namal

SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa asserted that a significant conspiracy was responsible for the downfall of the government established by his father, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Speaking at the inaugural constituency conference of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) in Thalawa on Sunday, Namal claimed that internal factions, international forces, and terror groups collaborated to destabilize the government, leading to the formation of the 'Yahapalana' (good governance) administration.
He said that Gotabaya Rajapaksa inherited a weakened government, not the robust one built by Mahinda. Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa attended the event but did not address the gathering.
