The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has asserted that President Ranil Wickremesinghe has not provided a definitive response to their appeal for a General Election prior to the Presidential Polls.
The party's founder, Basil Rajapaksa, engaged in discussions with the President on Monday (13) regarding this matter, marking the seventh round of talks between the two parties.
During the meeting, the SLPP conveyed its stance on the nation's development process and announced the launch of SLPP’s election campaign .
