President Ranil Wickremesinghe met with the Sri Lankan Cricket Team, wishing them success as they prepare for the T20 World Cup.
The team, led by Wanidu Hasaranga, received encouragement and wishes for representing the nation. Departing today, the squad of 15 players was commended for their dedication.
The President congratulated the Sri Lankan Rugby Team for winning the Asian Rugby Championship, the achievement celebrated at the Presidential Secretariat.

Minister of Tourism, Lands, Sports and Youth Affairs Harin Fernando, Minister of State Arundika Fernando, as well as the President’s Senior Advisor on National Security and Chief of Staff, Sagala Ratnayaka attended the event.
