President Ranil Wickremesinghe has unveiled the "Presidential Academic Scholarship Program 2024/2025," aimed at bolstering the education of Sri Lankan youth, according to the President’s Media Division.

The initiative, facilitated through the President’s Fund, seeks to extend financial support to 100,000 students from Grade 01 to Grade 11 across all 10,126 schools nationwide.

Allocating a substantial sum of Rs. 3,600 million from the President’s Fund, this program intends to annually grant scholarships to students spanning various grades, ensuring widespread educational assistance throughout the country.

Emphasizing the significance of investing in the future generation, the President’s Media Division highlighted the program's objective to nurture talented individuals and foster the development of Sri Lanka’s human capital.
