In Gampaha, a 22-year-old woman from the Veragala, Devagala area has been apprehended in connection with the fatal shooting of a monk at a temple in the Malvatuhiripitiya area.

Authorities disclosed that the arrest was made on suspicion of aiding and abetting the primary suspect in the murder case, as well as concealing pertinent information.
