Three police personnel from the Aduruppu Veediya Police Station have been interdicted following an alarming incident involving the poisoning of two suspects in custody.

The incident, which occurred in connection to the Jinthupitiya shooting case, has raised serious concerns about the safety and security protocols within the police force.

According to a statement by the Police Spokesman, the interdiction of the officers comes after it was discovered that a visitor had managed to provide poisoned packets of milk to the two suspects while they were in custody at the Aduruppu Veediya Police Station.
