Sri Lanka’s Power and Energy Minister, Kanchana Wijesekera, is set to partake in the India Energy Week following an invitation from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and explore opportunities for collaboration in the energy sector between the two nations.
During the two-day visit, Minister Wijesekera is scheduled to engage in a series of activities, including bilateral meetings, a Ministerial Roundtable meeting, and discussions with key stakeholders such as the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Petronet LNG, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of India, and NTPC Ltd. These meetings offer a platform to discuss potential investment opportunities and partnerships in the energy sector.
