The Budget Appropriation Amendment Bill (Budget Speech) is scheduled to be presented to Parliament today (30) by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The Parliament is scheduled to meet today at 1.00 pm under the auspices of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena. The President is scheduled to commence reading the budget speech thereafter.

The President is expected to present the budget speech till 2 pm and then Parliament will be adjourned till 09.30 am tomorrow (31).
