The lawyers for the convener of the Inter-University Student Council Wasant Mudalige and two others who are being detained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act will submit three fundamental rights petitions before the Supreme Court tomorrow against their detention under the controversial act.

Lawyer Nuwan Bopage said that the petitions are being submitted in the hope of getting some relief from the court on behalf of the trio. Bopage also said that arresting people who supported the struggle under the Prevention of Terrorism Act is unfair.
