Polhena, Heeralugedara, Kaluaggala and Aswennawatta East GN Divisions in the Gampaha District will be isolated from 8 PM today.

Miriswatta GN Division and Pelanwatta North & East GN Divisions in the Kalutara District as well as the Pumpuhar GN Division in Trincomalee are also to be isolated from 8 PM today (26).

The decision has been made to isolate these areas due to the rising number of COVID19 cases in the Western province.

The Public Health Inspectors (PHI) union has identified Western Province as a high-risk area for COVID19.
