The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) alleges that several important files belonging to the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) are missing.

The Secretary of the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA), Dr. Senal Fernando, said that a complaint would be lodged with the IGP regarding the sudden "disappearance" of the files containing critical information.

The Secretary of the GMOA stated that the files containing information regarding foreign medical colleges are among the missing documents.

According to Dr. Fernando, the files contained information on the quality of foreign medical colleges, as well as information on Sri Lankan students studying in them.
