SJB MP Harin Fernando said he would complain to the Vatican against moves to assassinate his character over the Easter Sunday attacks.
Fernando said he spoke about his father's warning about an impending danger in public with good intentions but it has now backfired on him.
Speaking to Asian Mirror, the former Minister said the criticism level against him was unfounded and baseless.
"I am not ready to tolerate this baseless and unfounded criticism and I will go to Vatican seeking justice and fairness. As a Catholic, I have a clear conscience and I will bring thim matter to their attention," he added.
Fernando appeared before the Presidential Commission probing Easter Sunday attacks recently and a heated argument took place while he was giving evidence.
