Western Province North Crime Division has arrested a prison guard with 94 grams of Heroin in Borella.

The Police said the prison guard was attached to the Colombo Remand prison.

It is suspected that the guard maintained connections with those running running networks from the prison.

This comes in the wake of series of investigations launched by the government to restore discipline and order in prisons.
