Former President Maithripala Sirisena have given a nine-hour statement to the Presidential Commission probing Easter Sunday attacks.
The officers attached to the Commission, who visited Sirisena's residence this morning to record a statement this morning, left the premises a short while ago.
Many paties, including the opposition, has blamed the former President for the security lapses leading to the Easter Sunday attacks.
Sirisena was the Minister of Defence and the head of the National Security Council at the time the attacks took place.
