MInister and SLPP stalwart Gamini Lokuge said they were unaware of government position being given to President Maithripala Sirisena.
"A lot of these speculations were fuelled during the election period to obtain more votes. We all know about what people do during election campaigns," Lokuge said.
"However, when the final report on the Easter Sunday attack comes, everyone will get something," he added.
Sirisena was not given any Cabinet portfolio when a new Cabinet of Ministers was appointed last week. He was also not considered for the post of Speaker despite suggestions by the SLFP..
