Sajith Officially Recognised As Opposition Leader: Ranjith Siyambalapitiya Deputy Speaker

Samagi Jana Balawegaya Leader Sajith Premadasa was officially appointed the Leader of the Opposition.

Premadasa will now be entrusted with the task of leading the opposition against a ruling party with a 2/3 majority in Parliament.

Meanwhile, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya was appointed the Deputy Speaker

Jaffna District MP Angajan Ramanathan was appointed the Deputy Chairman of Committees in the House.
