The Samagi Jana Balawegaya is expected to name the Chief Oposition Whip today, its General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara said.

Lakshman Kiriella, Harsha De Silva, Kabir Hashim and Patali Champika Ranawaka have been nominated for the Chief Opposition Whip post in Parliament, party sources said.

The Samgi Jana Balawegaya held a workshop yesterday for elected MPs and former MPs on the party's way forward.
