President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has instructed all cabinet and state ministers to asusme duties before Monday.

The new Cabinet took oaths before the President yesterday in Kandy.

The Presidential Secretariat sources said all ministers have been briefed about their staff and resource allocation including vehicles.

A number of ministers have assumed duties today in their respective offices, government sources also added.
