A person who photographed his own ballot paper inside a polling booth has been arrested by the Nawalapitiya Police.

The incident has taken place at the polling station at the Nawalapitiya Central College.

The suspect is a 32-year-old youth.

The Elections Commission has strictly instructed voters not to photograph their own ballot papers at polling boo
