The Court of Appeal has issued an interim order staying the High Court Trial of the bribery case involving Avant Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathy and Major General (retd) Palitha Fernando.

The Court of Appeal issued the order following a revision application filed by Senadhipathy and Fernando.

The Bribery Commmission, its Director General and the Attorney General were named as respondents in the petition.
