Travel restrictions in some parts of the Rajanganaya area were lifted today as new COVID19 patients were not reported from the area over the past two weeks.

Several people in the area were diagnosed with COVID19 as they had close contacts with patients from the "Kandakadu cluster".

While imposing travel restrctions in the area, measures were also taken to quarantine those who closely interacted with COVID19 patients.

However, travel restrictions in some parts of the Rajanganaya area still remain as a recautionary measure.
