The ongoing interim school holiday has been extended by another week, Education Ministry said today.

The ministry also said that the schools will be reopened for Grade 11, 12 and 13 students on July 27.

Following a series of meeting between the authorities of education and health ministries, the education ministry has decided to extend the school holiday.

Meanwhile, schools in the Rajanganaya and Welikanda educational divisions will not be reopened before the 10th of August, it said.
