Former Minister and SLPP candidate Wijedasa Rajapakshe said former Ministers Rajitha Senaratne, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka and Patali Champika Ranawaka have obtained random from Avant Garde private security firm.

Speaking to a newspaper, Rajapakshe said he had seen documets to prove that the three former minsters have obtained money from the company.

"They wanted to pursue action against the company as they wanted more money from them.I can personally vouch for my statement. That is why there is an investigation today before a Presidential Commission of Inquiry," he added.

Rajapakshe said the three ex-ministers exerted pressure on him to arrest Gotabhaya Rajapaksa under the previous government.

"They knew they could not run the government without arresting Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. But, I resisted as there was no basis for such an arrest," he said adding that he always worked to uphold democracy and the rule of law.

However, two of the three ex-minitsers have already vehemently denied Rajapakshe's accusations.
