Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka today appeared before the Presidential Commission to probe political victimization during the 2015-2018 period.
Ranawaka appeared before the commission following a complaint lodged b Avant Garde owner Nissanka Senadhipathy.
The commission has issued notice pon 17 MPs of the former Parliament to give statements.
Speaking to the media from the commission premises, Ranawaka said Senadhipathy was never an employee of the state and his complaint did not come under the official scope of the commission.
However, Ranawaka said he would engage with the proceedings of the commission in the future.
