Sri Lanka has recorded 1000 Covid19 recoveries today, the health authorities announced.

They added that 1030 people, who were infected with COVID19, have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.

Of them, 563 are members of the Navy. On Tuesday, over 40 sailors were discharged from hospitals having recovered from the virus.

Sri Lanka has reported a total of 1857 COVID19 cases thus far.
