The 11th COVID19 death was reported in Sri Lanka a short while ago, the Health Ministry said.

The victim is a 45-year-old man who returned to the country from Kuwait recently.

The Ministry said he was being treated at the Negombo Hospital.

Over 500 returnees from Kuwait have been tested positive for COVID19 following PCR testing.
