Sri Lanka cricket team will resume their training today following a two-month lockdown period, SLC said.
The cricket body said 13 players would resume a resident-training programme today under strict health and safety guidelines.
The team management has been advised to enforce strict social distancing measures during the training.
The players who undergo the training programme will be kept at a hotel in Colombo and their interactions with the public will be restricted.
The timeline of Sri Lanka's future tournaments still remains unclear. However, informed SLC sources said they expected "positive news" this month.
