Health authorities confirmed that 220 Navy personnel posted at Gafoor building have tested negative for COVID19.

All sailors posted at the building were quarantined following a sailor from the Gafoor building was tested positive for COVID19.

Issuing a statement, Navy spokesman Isuru Sooriyabandara said the building was occupied by the Navy and everyone in the building followed standards issued by the Health Ministry.

However, more sailors were tested positive yesterday further increasing the "Navy cluster" which started with an officer posted at the Welisara camp.
