Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka is due to appear before the Colombo Crimes Division tomorrow.

Police sources said Fonseka had been summoned to give a statement on a press conference he addressed expressing views about the COVID19 ourbreak in the country.

The Police Media Spokesman had complained to the CCD that Fonseka made false claims at the press conference creating panic in society. .

At the press conference, Fonseka cited Facebook as the source of his information.
