Sri Lankan fast bowler Shehan Madhusanka has been arrested by the Police over the possession of 700 mg of Heroin.

The cricketer has been remanded till June 02 after he was produced before the Magistrate.

Madhusanka rose to fame when he took a hat-trick in his first One-Day International for Sri Lanka.

However, a string of injuries kept him out of the game. The Police have stated that the cricketer is an alleged drug addict.
