Balangoda town is now under water due to heavy rains and the people have been advised to remain vigilant.

Ratnapura experienced the heaviest rainfall of 193.3mm in #SriLanka in the past 24 hours.

The Disaster Management Centre and the Met Department have warned the people in risky areas to act with great caution.

More rains are expected in the coming days.
