President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa said all state officials should work with his policies.

Addressing a meeting with senior officials in the plantation sector, Rajapaksa said those who could not follow his policies should not remain in their positions.

"I am not saying the wrong things. I am not asking you to violate the law. I am simply asking you to do what is good for the country. I intend to achieve the same," Rajapaksa added.

The President added he would clearly communicate his vision to the senior officials in the state sector.

"Senior state officials should be able to realise this vision," he added.
