President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has donated his salary of three months to the President's Fund to fight the COVID19 outbreak in the country.

His office said the President had donated Rs. 292500 to the fund.

The President had handed over the money to his Secretary Dr. P.B. Jayasundata today at his office.

Dr. Jayasundara recently appealed to the public servants to donate their salaries to the government to support the ongoing mission against the virus outbreak.
