A Human Rights impact assessment commissioned by Facebook to measure it's role in Sri Lanka has been published.

The executive summary of the report notes that the company has had a positive impact on economy and has a powerful role in promoting free expression and civic engagement - especially with civil society groups. women, LGBTQ+ and HR activists.

The report, also makes note of risks, responses and makes recommendations.
