The National Elections Commission said postal voting applications which were to be handed over on 28th April should be submitted before 04 PM on 14th May.

The Election is expected to take place on June 20 although it has been challenged before the Supreme Court.

It is still not clear when the preferential numbers for candidates will be issued.

However, it is reported that representatives of political parties will meet the National Elections Commission (NEC) today to talk about the election.
