Former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal's son Chathura Cabral denied reports that he was involved in any brawl at the BIA, Katunaike.
Several social media posts said the former CB Governor's son was among the returnees who were brought back to Sri Lanka from the United Kingdom.
They also said Cabral was then taken to a luxurious hotel for quarantine.
Posting a picture taken from his residence on Facebook, Cabral said, "I didn't know my house in Akuregoda was actually a Jetwing hotel".
The former Central Governor, a controversial figure, is now an economic advisor to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
