Police officers who were assigned to high-risk areas such as Keselwatte and Bandaranaike Mawatha were subject to PCR tests and all of them tested negative for the virus , the Police Spokesman said today.
The Police Spokesman made the revelation during a press briefing amidst growing concerns over the safety of security personnels.
The concerns were sparked after over 220 sailors in the Navy were tested positive for COVID19.
On Thursday, Sri Lanka reported only four new confirmed cases. However, health authorities claim that the situation in the country is still fluid.
